Features

Every QR code a business needs

Seven content types, one clean design workflow.

Wi-Fi in one scan

Guests scan to join your network — no spelling out passwords. WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, open and hidden networks.

Contact cards (vCard)

Name, company, phones, email, website and address — saved straight to the scanner’s contacts.

Your logo in the centre

Upload a logo and the code switches to high error correction so it stays scannable.

Colours, patterns & captions

Square, rounded or dot patterns, brand colours with a contrast check, and a caption that tells people what to do.

Print-ready PNG & SVG

PNG up to 2048 px for print, or a vector SVG that stays sharp on banners and signage.

Static & private

Content is encoded directly in the code — no redirects, no tracking, no expiry. Everything runs in your browser.

How It Works

Make a QR code in three steps

Ready to print in under a minute.

01

Choose a type

Website, Wi-Fi, contact, email, SMS, phone or text — then fill in the details.

02

Style it

Pick colours and a pattern, add your logo and a caption like “Scan to join our Wi-Fi”.

03

Download & test

Download PNG or SVG, test-scan it with your phone, then print or share it.

Who It's For

Popular ways businesses use QR codes

Put the next step one scan away.

Cafés & hotels

A Wi-Fi QR on tables and room cards ends “what’s the password?” questions.

Menus & price lists

Link to an online menu, booking page or ordering site.

Business cards & stands

A vCard QR saves your details to a phone in one scan.

Packaging & manuals

Send buyers to setup guides, warranty registration or support email.

Shop windows & posters

Let passers-by call, text or visit your site even when you’re closed.

Events & signage

Share schedules, maps and feedback forms without printing them.

Best Practices

Tips for QR codes that always scan

Most failed scans come down to a few avoidable mistakes.

Keep a dark code on a light background — light-on-dark codes fail on many phone cameras.

Print at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) for close-up scanning; for posters, make the code about a tenth of the reading distance wide.

Less content means a simpler, more reliable code: shorten long URLs and keep text brief.

Leave the white margin (quiet zone) around the code — don’t crop it or place it on a busy background.

Add a caption saying what happens next, e.g. “Scan to join our Wi-Fi”.

Test-scan the printed version with both an iPhone and an Android phone before printing in bulk.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. It’s completely free with no sign-up, no watermark, no scan limits and no expiry. The codes are static, so there’s no subscription keeping them alive.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. A static QR code stores its content directly in the pattern, so it works for as long as the website, network or number it points to. Note that you can’t change a static code after printing — make a new one if your details change.
How do I make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Choose “Wi-Fi”, enter the network name exactly as it appears in the Wi-Fi list, pick the security type and enter the password. When someone scans it, their phone offers to join the network — no typing needed. The password never leaves your browser.
What is a vCard QR code?
A vCard QR code holds a digital contact card — name, company, phone numbers, email, website and address. Scanning it offers to save the contact straight to the phone’s address book. It’s ideal for business cards, stands and name badges.
Can I put my logo in the QR code?
Yes. Choose “My logo” and upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. The generator switches to the highest error-correction level so the code stays scannable with the logo covering the centre. Always test-scan the result.
Can I track scans?
Not with static codes. Scan tracking needs a “dynamic” QR code that points to a redirect service. For websites, you can add UTM parameters to your URL (e.g. ?utm_source=qr) and see the visits in your analytics instead.
Which format should I download, PNG or SVG?
Use SVG for print and signage — it’s a vector, so it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG (1024 or 2048 px) for documents, slides, social posts and websites.
